I've worked every layer
of a shipyard.

From electrical engineer on live vessels to the software engineer who builds the tools that run them — 14+ years, one industry, every function.

7 stages. One industry. Every layer.

Stage 01 / 072012–2013

Ship Electronics

Started on the shop floor — installation and testing of navigation electronics, communication systems, and control panels on vessels under construction. NAVCOM wiring, antenna mounting, bridge equipment commissioning, and signal continuity checks.

Most shipyard software is built by people who have never stood on a scaffold. I have.

Why I'm different

I've never traced a fault through a main switchboard from a manual — I've done it with the vessel alongside. I've optimized nesting layouts to squeeze more parts out of every steel plate. Then I built the software for people like me.

I started my career installing NAVCOM equipment and wiring electrical systems on live vessels. I moved to hull production, coordinating structural fabrication and outfitting. I ran nesting technology operations, optimizing steel plate cutting with CNC plasma systems. I built BI dashboards that let production managers see real-time output. Then I led full IT infrastructure and digital transformation across the shipyard.

Now I build the tools that tie it all together — because I understand what each layer of a shipyard actually needs, not just what a requirements document says.

Professional Values

01

Domain-First Software

Tools built by someone who has done the job on the yard — not just mapped the process in a meeting room.

02

Operational Clarity

Systems that give management real-time visibility without adding complexity for the people doing the work.

03

Continuous Learning

27 certifications and counting. Currently exploring IoT and AI for marine applications. Always building.

04

Human-Centered Design

Software designed for the engineers, operators, and workers who depend on it every single day.
